5 years ago, Archie Klatos (one of Chagrin Falls' best and brightest) disappeared without a trace.

The circumstances of his disappearance were highly unusual. His social media accounts, including a facebook and a twitter, were deleted only hours before. His phone-line was disconnected only minutes before. All official credit cards under his name were cancelled weeks before that.

The Chagrin PD eventually shut down the investigation, due to lack of new evidence. The people of Cuyahoga County feel this was both premature and a miscarriage of justice to the larger issues facing Northeast Ohio.

Who were his kidnappers? How did they manage to erase virtually any footprint of his existence... and why? Have they also taken others? Was his kidnapping related to the ongoing epidemic of human trafficking in Ohio, where perhaps it is MOST prevalent?

When we began the search in 2015, it was in commitment to finding out what happened to him; whether it be that he is no longer with us to tell his story, or that he is still alive in parts unknown, his family and loved ones deserve to know the truth.

But the Klatos Investigation has grown into something much bigger than that; something much bigger than all of us. This is not about what happened to one high school teen at the age of 15... this is about the hundreds of people in America is has also happened to. This is about the millions among us it may eventually happen to.
