Investigation into Missing Teen Closed

The missing persons investigation for Archie Klatos has officially ended.

One has to wonder if he's seen or read this.

If he has, he must be in a state of sheer terror. As of this morning, the Chagrin Falls police department have officially announced they will be suspending all inquires into the disappearance of Archie Klatos, thus officially closing the investigation as of 12:20 today.

"I'm frankly surprised it's lasted as long as it has," said deputy Howard Fields on the subject. "It's only survived to this point mostly due to outside pressure from the public. Under adequate circumstances, a missing persons investigation with no new evidence would never be allowed to last this long."

When asked if he's finally changed his mind, regarding his original belief the disappearance was a suicide, Fields surprised many with this to say: "It's clear to me now that Thomas Michaels probably bore more responsibility than we originally realized. When he passed, all evidence dried up and all leads ran cold. It's clear whatever there was to find was linked to him, and it died with him."

“Whatever there was to find was linked to him, and it died with him.”

All efforts have been expended; were they perhaps not expended soon enough? One has to recall the reluctance upon which this investigation was originally started, making the discovery of Michael's connection more of an accident than a deliberate effort.

One has to wonder if perhaps too little has been left discovered in this matter; one perhaps gets the feeling that the majority of what there was to uncover remains a secret, in Klatos' disappearance. Thus, to many, the decision to close the investigation seems ill-advised at best. With so much to still reveal, is this perhaps less of a closure and more of an abandonment?

How many else have been abandoned out there?

The story of Archie Klatos is just one of several stories; Several fates that will remain unknown forever. Several travesties that will remain unavenged forever. In all this, there is an ocean of people who've been abandoned and forgotten. One has to wonder if Klatos is near a TV or Newspaper to know he has been forgotten.

And one cannot fathom the horror in Klatos mind to know he's been left to this fate.
