New details emerge from Samantha Hatchins autobiography on Archie Klatos' life.
For years we assumed he was kidnapped; ironically, that might have been wishful thinking.
As excerpts from Samantha Hatchins' new book--on her relationship with Archie Klatos--emerge, one detail in particular has prompted a startling re-evaluation of the entire investigation into his original disappearance. As detailed in Hatchins' own firsthand account below:
"...And that's ALL they do."
I could feel his hand trembling.
"It really gets you thinking, you know; if the people who actually HAVE the power to fix everything won't do it, what's the point of even trying anymore." He shook his head. "I spent all of last night on my windowsill thinking about this... and whether or not to let go."
While not yet officially linked with any specific aspect of his case, it does raise some startling questions; is the idea that his disappearance was pre-meditated so far off from the truth after all? If suicide really is the answer, how was it that we as a collective society ignored the possibility for so long, choosing instead to pursue alternate suspicions?
Perhaps we were choosing a happy lie; wishfully thinking his life was taken by others... rather than accepting the painful truth.
