New Evidence in Missing Persons Investigation

For the first time in 5 years, new evidence may aid in the disappearance of a Chagrin Falls teen.

The trail had seemed to run cold; now it appears we barely trekked it at all.

After startling new excerpts from the diary of Thomas Michaels appeared to discredit him as a suspect in the disappearance of Archie Klatos, the diary in question has officially been archived into the original investigation files of the Chagrin PD dedicated to Klatos.

In other words, the first new evidence in this investigation in over 5 years will now be searched, for any new evidence regarding Klatos' fate. Commenting on the find is the previous deputy assigned to the original investigation, Howard Fields, now officially retired from the force: "I hope they don't fail him. I know I certainly did. I left too many stones unturned, assuming there were none to turn in the first place, and this boy payed the price."

“I hope they don't fail him. I know I certainly did.”

Fields' regret expresses a larger, shared regret perhaps we all possess in equal measure. He feels he could have examined into other trails of breadcrumbs; he could have analyzed data he ignored, and by ignoring it someone payed the price.

Who else have we ignored?

Over 28,000 cases of sex trafficking are reported each year.

Over 1,000 cases of human trafficking are estimated in Ohio alone;

Less than half were reported.

What other activities are we not looking into? What other discoveries may we find if we actually stopped to look for it? Who else is lost, or in danger, who we aren't anywhere closer to aiding because we just don't feel like founding out about them?

What else don't we know about?
